Since its inception in 2005, Commfides has played the role of certificate issuer and provider of qualified electronic trust services. Our mission is to issue and manage digital identities that can be trusted by society,
in the same way that a physical passport or driver’s license can be trusted.
This role entails a special responsibility and is subject to strict national and European regulations, where we are continuously monitored and audited by independent bodies.

For us, security is about responsibility managed in practice. Through established processes and continuous monitoring, we ensure that our trust services are stable, correct and complient with applicable requirements.
