QTSP provider - Qualified Trust Service Provider in the EU
Commfides is eIDAS certified as a QTSP (Qualified Trusted Service Provider) and is listed on the EU Trusted list.
As a Qualified Trust Service Provider under eIDAS, we operate at the highest security level in the EU.
We deliver digital certificates and trust services that are rigorously audited and approved in line with Europe’s strictest regulatory requirements.
This means that our digital signatures and electronic seals (eSeals/Enterprise Certificates) are legally valid throughout the EU/EEA and carry the same legal effect as a handwritten signature. They are recognised across industries, sectors, and national borders, ensuring trust in every digital interaction.
Certified according to information security ISO 27001
Commfides is certified according to ISO/IEC 27001, the world’s most recognized standard for information and data security.

Qualified provider of electronic ID and trust services
Commfides is approved by the Norwegian Communications Authority (Nkom) as an issuer of electronic identities and provider of qualified trust services in accordance with the Electronic Trust Services Act(eIDAS legislation).
Commfides is self-declared in accordance with the Self-Declaration Regulation and for the highest security level in Norway. We issue qualified certificates for electronic signature(Private e-ID & Employee e-ID) and for eSegl(Business certificates).
The purpose of the Self-Declaration Regulation is to define security levels and increase confidence in and use of electronic identification services in Norway and across national borders.
