initiative for digital customs processing of goods imported into Norway. This means that all necessary information about goods and transport must be sent electronically to Norwegian Customs <strong><em>before the<\/em><\/strong> the vehicle arrives at the border. Typical target groups are <strong>importers, freight forwarders <\/strong>and<strong> IT suppliers<\/strong> who offer logistics and customs systems. <br>Digitoll is already in use today, for example in connection with the EU&#8217;s new security system <strong>ICS2<\/strong> (Import Control System 2), which requires advance notification of goods from third countries. This is solved by using a <strong>Enterprise Certificate \/ eSeal<\/strong> issued to the company. The company certificate acts as the company&#8217;s digital ID card and is used for authentication and signing of messages in Digitoll.   <br>Once your company has a valid certificate, Customs can verify who is behind the submitted data, and you get access to Customs&#8217; interface for electronic interaction.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-79d1a4a elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"79d1a4a\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<ul><li><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\"><strong>Requirements in Maskinporten:<\/strong> Digitoll uses Maskinporten to provide access to the APIs. Your business must have a business certificate from an approved provider (e.g. Commfides) in order to authenticate through Maskinporten. <\/span><\/li><li><strong>One certificate per organization:<\/strong> One certificate is required per organization number. The certificate is issued to the business (legal entity) and ensures unique identification. If you have several entities with their own organization numbers that are to report separately, each must obtain its own certificate.  <\/li><li><strong>Secure data exchange:<\/strong> Messages signed with a business certificate provide integrity and encryption.
